The Germantown Torpedoes is a summer swim team sponsored by the Montgomery County Recreation Department that swims at the Germantown Outdoor Pool in Germantown, Maryland. In the summer of 2018, we will compete in Division A of the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) as the 5th seeded team among the league's 90 teams.
Whether you are a beginner or have been swimming for years, anyone up to 18 years of age can join our team regardless of where s/he lives as long as s/he can swim one length of the pool at the start of the season.
It has been brought to our attention that some unscrupulous person (or people) have been sending fake billing request to people under the guise of the Germantown Torpedoes in an attempt to defraud them of money through payments.
